If you want to get into the Spirit of Christmas then go for a walk around Dorking in Surrey. I went today for a festive stroll.
It has so many pretty Christmas Window displays.
Keep your eyes peeled for Frosty the Snowman.
I explored its gorgeous vintage shops. So many hidden treasures.
I stopped for warming Praline Cappuccino and a mini Chocolate Cherry Tart from the local Costa Coffee. Not going to lie I could have eaten more than one of them. So yummy.
Stopped to admire St Martin’s Church. It’s a beautiful peaceful place.
Before heading home and treating myself to a Christmas Cookie bathbomb. It was a lovely festive way to finish the weekend. Hope you had a good weekend too.

It was beautiful and sunny today so we went for an explore around Hampton Court Palace and its surrounding area. It’s one of my favourite places in the world and makes for a lovely afternoon.
The magnificent entrance to Hampton Court Palace. It’s always worth a visit any time of year.
The Palace has a lovely ice skating rink at Christmas time. I’m far too clumsy to skate but it’s fun to watch others whizz around.
Warmed up with an al fresco soy Pumpkin Spice Latte and a verrily medieval Honey Mead Cake.
Got into the Christmas Spirit at the pretty local shops. This sparkly display was in Gardenarium opposite Hampton Court Palace. A lovely shop which also sells fake flowers so perfect for an asthmatic like me.
Stopped for the pretty view of the River Thames from Hampton Court Bridge. Autumn sunshine is so beautiful late in the afternoon.
Followed the Autumn shadows back across the bridge.
Admired the regal guardians of the gates at the Palace.
Before heading home as the sun set in Surrey.

Afternoon Tea is a wonderful all-weather treat especially given England’s temperamental Summer season. Here’s a few photos from my Instagram account of a recent outing. As husband and I are vegetarian our finger sandwiches were brie with cranberries then some egg mayonnaise. The cakes were a delicious coffee & walnut plus a Victoria sponge with blackberries in the centre. Finally the all important scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. As it happens I’m not a fan of scones (raisins yuck) so lucky husband got to have two delicious treats. For our tea of choice husband went for traditional Breakfast Tea whilst I had a fragrant pot of Earl Grey.

Seven Days In The Frame is a weekly pick from my personal Instagram pics.
If you’re on Instagram then please do come say hello here
Felt poorly last week due to my naughty lungs and immune system so had a few days rest with the Milo Boo…
…and little Mitzi Mitts
When I did get to venture outside I celebrated with a Costa soya latte and tirimasu cake. Delicious!
Then treated myself to a pedicure at a lovely local nail salon. The colour is from OPI and called Senorita Rose-Alita.
