Pixie Lott looking regal in a dramatic Alberta Ferretti gown. Love the sheer elbow gloves too.

Its been a rainy cold soggy day in my corner of England and I thought it would be a no walk day. When you’re in quarantine like me (see here) then that brief escape each day is so treasured. For months been in strict quarantine due to lung damage and immunity issues. Allowed out for short walk each day now as rusty lungs need fresh air. Yet have strict instructions to cover up if people walk past and avoid any potential germs. During the week its a somewhat dull stroll around the neighbourhood. However at the weekend its time for The Great Escape! Lovely husband drives to a park where we can walk without meeting another soul. It’s so lovely to take in Autumn’s wonderful vibrant colours and breathe some fresh crisp air. Today I dug out my old faithful boots which have seen many an Autumn season. The pink gloves are just for fun. Who doesn’t love some sparkle in the morning. If you have the freedom to go out – whenever you wish – wherever you want – to see whoever you choose – please revel in it – celebrate it – be thankful for it. Ahh freedom is a wonderful thing!

Elegance joins the Jazz Age,
