Taking in the Seaside Air

After a year and half of lung damage, asthma attacks, surgeries and too much medication I decided to take an old-fashioned approach to my weedy chest problems. The specialist at my appointment Friday night made a passing comment at the end of the session about taking in the sea air. ‘Nowhere too busy like Brighton, maybe Littlehampton’ he suggested. Now I’ve had many a fun hectic decadent weekend in Brighton but whats needed at the moment is pure fresh air with some rest and relaxation. Littlehampton rang a warm nostalgic bell as my parents would take my sisters and I there as children. I have happy memories of carefree sunshine days. This is literally what the doctor ordered. So on Saturday morning husband and I set off on a road trip to Littlehampton on the Sussex coast.

We walked on the quiet sandy beach and watched the gentle waves.

Then finally watched the sun set over the sea and shingled shore. Just what the Doctor ordered.
